Booth A2899: The Vessel Cutting Machine from HGG Profiling Equipment uses oxy-fuel or plasma to cut precision beveled holes in pressure vessel tank heads, shells, nozzles and reinforcing pads, and hillside holes by using a specially designed rotating table that positions the vessel part under the cutting area and a laser scanner system that measures the slope and adjusts the torch height to insure a proper bevel and root opening.
Booth A2899: Well suited for either offshore or steel construction, the innovative Robotic Profile Cutting Line RPC 2.0 from HGG Profiling Equipment is a complete fabrication shop in one machine that can cut both bolted and welded connections and performs 3D profiling to beam coping, including cutting I/H beams and square/rectangular tubing profiles with dramatically increased accuracy, quality and overall productivity.
Booth A2899: Ideal for steel construction piping in building cranes, trusses, stadiums, bridges, theme parks, expo centers, airport structures, and shopping malls, the 3D Tube Cutting Line from HGG Profiling Equipment is a fully automated pipe-cutting shop in a single machine that combines a precision 3D tube and pipe cutting machine with an automated fabrication line that has multiple out-feed stations. For process piping, it is well suited for spools, manifolds, pipelines, headers, lobster backs, boilers, and nozzles.

In Booth A2899, HGG Profiling Equipment (Medina, OH) will introduce the world to FitPerfect™ technology that dramatically reduces fitting and welding costs by using unique 3D steel profile cutting capabilities to combine plasma and oxyfuel processes and minimize grinding time. FitPerfect systems include a wide range of innovative and high quality CNC cutting machines, custom machinery and associated equipment for cutting steel beams, pipes and tubing. These systems are specially designed to profile complex beveled edges and 3D profiles. Combining robotics, a patented cutting head and proprietary software, this machinery enables users to cut a wide variety of angles, from plus 70 deg to minus 70 deg.

Examples on display include the Vessel Cutting Machine, created to cut precision beveled holes in pressure vessel tank heads, shells, nozzles and reinforcing pads, as well as hillside holes. It features a specially designed rotating table and a laser scanner system. The rotating table positions the vessel part under the cutting area. The laser scanner then scans the surface to measure the slope and adjusts the torch height to insure a proper bevel and root opening. The Vessel Cutting Machine can be ordered in various sizes from 24 in to 13 ft diameter. Its cutting process tool can accommodate an oxy-fuel torch or plasma torch, and an optional fume collection system.

Also featured is the new Robotic Profile Cutting Line RPC 2.0, which HGG defines as a complete fabrication shop in one machine. The RPC 2.0 is able to cut both bolted and welded connections, and is well suited for either offshore or steel construction, performing 3D profiling to beam coping, including cutting I/H beams and square/rectangular tubing profiles. Also known as a Plasma Beam Profiler, the RPC 2.0 dramatically increases accuracy, quality and overall productivity with new technological feature innovations that eliminate time-consuming machine tactility.

Also on display is the 3D Tube Cutting Line (TCL), another fully automated pipe-cutting shop in a single machine that combines precision tube cutting with an automated and custom designed in-feed/out-feed logistics system to increase production capacity. Its accuracy offers fabricators a cost effective alternative to expensive laser machines, while its automation provides shops with the flexibility to adapt quickly to changing production volume and tight lead times. The TCL combines a pipe and 3D tube and pipe cutting machine with an automated fabrication line with multiple out-feed stations. Ideal for steel construction piping, this system is well suited for building cranes, trusses, stadiums, bridges, theme parks, expo centers, airport structures, and shopping malls. For process piping, it is well suited for spools, manifolds, pipelines, headers, lobster backs, boilers, and nozzles.
