"Using our turnkey systems, our customers are able to quickly and efficiently implement highly complex manufacturing processes at a reasonable price."
The merger of EMCO`s turning skills and EMCO MECOF`s milling know-how – both companies celebrate their 70th anniversary this year – resulted in the Hyperturn 200 Powermill, a high-performance turning and milling center. With this powerful system, users can accomplish complete, high precision machining of parts featuring diameters of up to 1,000 mm and lengths of up to 6,000 mm.

The parent of EMCO Corporation (Novi, MI) is EMCO GmbH (Hallein, Austria), one of Europe`s leading machine tool manufacturers that has provided high quality, multi-functional metal cutting machine tools for 70 years and expanded their portfolio from a standard machine manufacturer to a turnkey system provider that delivers over 1,200 machines annually. They engineer a range of machine tools, from conventional turning and milling machines to CNC turning centers and vertical machining centers, as well as fully automated manufacturing cells and high speed milling and drilling centers.

“Using our turnkey systems, our customers are able to quickly and efficiently implement highly complex manufacturing processes at a reasonable price,” explains Dr. Stefan Hansch, the managing director of the EMCO Group. These machines are used in mold making, in the automotive industry or in general engineering to produce  high volume components such as wind turbine main shafts, hydraulic cylinders for construction machines, ship propellers or drill heads for oil production. With production sites in Austria, Italy, Russia and Germany, the company ranks among Europe`s leading machine tool manufacturers. The company is owned by construction machine dealer Günter Kuhn (Salzburg, Austria) and now employs around 700 workers worldwide, with branch offices in Germany, Italy, the U.S., Russia and the Czech Republic. All machine development and production takes place in Europe.
