MetalMizer (Indianapolis, IN) offers their MV2300 Metal Cutting Bandsaw that features powered 0 to 45 deg head tilt from either side of vertical and many new features for improved machine flexibility and production. Due to the unique design of the drive system, the MV2300 offers 30 percent less overall machine depth than competitive saws in its class, which allows for more flexible machine placement and saves floor space without loss of capacity or function. Made in the U.S., this saw features many upgrades, including powered controls, a 3 hp 230V 1-phase or 230V/460V 3-phase drive motor, and a frequency drive blade motor. It provides 18 in horizontal, 20 in vertical cutting capacity, with 0 to 300 lb cutting pressure. It also has adjustable 0 to 3 deg forward tilt and auto speed adjustment with presets for making a variety of cuts. Its advanced touchscreen control box is positioned on a swivel arm that allows the operator to position the controls for best operator visibility and for optimum flow of material. Material handling tables are also available to accommodate any material length.
