DEWALT® Industrial Power Tools, Inc. (Towson, MD) offers their BREAKAWAY™ Reciprocating Saw Blades that are made in the U.S. with global materials and use an innovative two-blades-in-one design, where users are able to break away the used section of the blade and then reinsert the unused blade section back into the saw. The BREAKAWAY feature allows for maximum blade use, without compromising performance. These reciprocating saw blades come in two lengths: 6 in (DWABK461418) and 9 in (DWABK491418). The 6 in blades break into 4 in blades and are ideal for cutting materials up to 1 in diameter. The 9 in blades break into 6 in blades and are ideal for cutting materials up to 2 in diameter. At .042 in thickness, these blades have been designed with a thick kerf for durability. The blades are engineered with a 14/18 TPI (teeth per inch) variable tooth pattern for optimized cuts in a variety of metal cutting applications.
