Milwaukee Electric Tool Corporation (Brookfield, WI) offers two new steel storage units that are built for extreme productivity: a 60 in Mobile Work Station and a 30 in Steel Storage Chest and Cabinet that are both constructed of reinforced angle iron frame and 5 in industrial casters for ultimate durability, and designed with the function and organization options that users need every day. Exclusive to the 60 in Mobile Work Station is a 22 in multi-position metal peg wall that provides a convenient place to store frequently used items. With an additional 11 drawers that include 100 lb soft-close slides and a center drawer with a moveable divider, this Work Station can support a weight capacity of 2,200 lb. Every inch of the space is maximized with features, such as a multi-position utility shelf that can be mounted at different heights on the side of the work station for convenient storage of bulk items, a quick-access tool holder that provides easy access to longer tools like screwdrivers and ratchets, and a one-inch thick reversible hardwood top.

The 30 in Steel Storage Chest and Cabinet is designed with 12 drawers with 100 lb soft close slides, independent locking drawers to keep valuables and personal goods secured while working, and a pull-out work surface for using and storing a laptop or documents. Under the pneumatic lid, users can also store tools on the integrated metal peg wall or upright directly on the work surface, which has 9.5 in of clearance from the lid when closed. The unit’s vertical, upright design makes it easy to move around the work space for more convenient access to needed tools. Both of these units feature a power tool organizer to keep tools upright and a built-in power center for instant access to power.

Modular storage systems typically limit users to a single footprint or box size that offers very little versatility to fit their needs, but Milwaukee Tool also offers the versatile and durable PACKOUT™ Modular Storage System that revolutionizes tool transportation, organization, and storage for the trades with an attachment system that allows boxes, organizers, and totes of multiple sizes and configurations to easily stack and lock together. An intuitive and quick attachment mechanism gives users the freedom to stack and lock PACKOUT tool boxes, organizers, and totes of different sizes in numerous configurations that best suit their needs. The initial system consists of eight units: three tool boxes, two organizers, and three storage totes.

The base of the system is the Rolling Tool Box with 9 in all-terrain wheels that easily roll over a variety of rough surfaces, with a metal through-axle that secures the wheels for a stronger connection and longer life in jobsite conditions. An industrial-grade extension handle supports box loads up to 250 lb, and its wide handle produces a more comfortable grip during transportation. Metal reinforced corners provide ultimate durability. Users can also choose to utilize the Large Tool Box or Tool Box to securely stack and transport on top of the Rolling Tool Box. Each features an internal organization tray for hand tools and accessories. All tool boxes in the system are constructed with impact resistant polymer, IP 65-rated seals to prevent damage from water and jobsite debris, metal reinforced corners, and TICK™ mounting locations on the lids.

The Organizer and Compact Organizer are designed to securely stack and transport on top of any of the tool boxes. Each includes small and large removable bins that can be mounted on common jobsite materials by utilizing integrated screw slots. A No-Travel Bin seal around the perimeter of each bin prevents small items from migrating from one bin to the other. Each utilizes impact resistant polymers and is IP 65-rated to prevent damage from water and jobsite debris. Unique to this modular storage system is the integration of soft storage totes designed to attach to the top of any storage box or organizer in the system to allow users to not only attach a storage tote to the top of their system for transport, but also give the flexibility to attach an organizer to the bottom of a tote for quick tasks that only require a few hand tools and small fasteners.

The 10 in, 15 in or 20 in soft-sided totes can fit a wide variety of tools, from accessories and screwdrivers, to impact drivers and SAWZALLs®. Each is constructed of 1680D ballistic material and their impact-resistant molded bases are up to 5X more durable than competitive bases, protecting contents from water, abrasion and impact.
