Forney Industries, Inc. (Fort Collins, CO) offers an expanded and upgraded line of welding, metalworking and auto-darkening helmets that provide state-of-the-art protection and comfort with custom designs that offer users a variety of styles that meet the needs of every level of welding. “The needs of welders have significantly evolved over the last decade,” said Todd Romero, a senior product line manager for Forney. “We’ve sought input from welding engineers, users and industry experts, then added our expertise in the product to engineer top-of-the-line welding helmets that weren’t currently available on the market.” The auto-darkening feature has been a key selling point for Danny Lawler, the store manager of Harrison Supply Inc. (Devine, TX), who noted, “We have seen a 25 percent increase in our business.”
