Century Tool and Gage (Fenton, MI), a composites tooling specialist, and CTG Bel-Kur (Temperance, MI), a supplier of secondary tooling systems for composite molding, have launched a new website that serves as an information hub for both companies. founded in 1974, Century Tool and Gage is a compression mold specialist that serves users primarily in the automotive, heavy-truck, aerospace, and personal watercraft industries that require tools to manufacture composite components of the highest precision and surface finish. CTG Bel-Kur provides design, engineering, fabrication, build, commissioning and ongoing service for a variety of secondary materials processing equipment, specializing in post-mold systems, including cooling jigs and fixtures, bond and drill fixtures, trim dies and automated assembly.
The new site is configured so that users can immediately access either Century or CTG Bel-Kur information while other areas on the site illustrate the synergies created by the combination of the two companies. As a one-stop composites tooling resource, there is a section that addresses lightweighting as an industry trend, as well as illustrating many of the high-level customers both firms have provided work for. There is also information on the history of each company and their processes. A separate section provides information on the community involvement of both companies.
