The MILLHOG BSR bolt seat resurfacing tool from ESCO Tool makes sure steam turbine cover bolts fit properly after repairs and is suitable for all surfaces subjected to corrosion. It uses a cutting head equipped with three flat-face blades to cleanly remove corrosion and resurface turbine shell diaphragm retainer bolt holes. Capable of 0.001 in flatness accuracy, it can remove metal up to 1.5 in deep and be equipped with different sized heads to fit the hole and circumference that requires resurfacing.
The portable MILLHOG Mini Electric Pipe Beveling Tool from ESCO Tool is a powerful alternative to pneumatic tools for end prepping boiler tubes. It rigidly mounts to the tube or pipe ID and is suited for end prepping heavy-wall stainless steel pipe and other highly alloyed metals when compressed air is not available. Its high torque variable speed motor spins at 19 rpm to 66 rpm for beveling hard and soft boiler tubes and pipes from 1.25 in ID to 6.625 in OD, and it pulls a thick chip without needing cutting oils.
Air-powered MILLHOG Rolling Motors and Tube Expanders from ESCO Tool enable users to create a uniform and tight mechanical seal on all types of rolls. Featuring a torque control setting that stalls the tool when it reaches the desired tube expansion, they are supplied as complete kits with a choice of tube expanders for straight-, flare-, long-reach, and beaded rolls on tubes from 3/8 in to 4½ in OD and tube sheets to 5-3/8 in. They are easy to adjust and allow precise torque control from 25 ft-lb to 325 ft-lb.
