The Easy Load manual tool changer from Norgren, Inc. Automation Solutions, LCC (Saline, MI) makes tool changeover faster and easier than ever for Tri-Axis, Tandem and other robotic processes. Faster tool changeover means less downtime and greater manufacturing flexibility. The Easy Load receiver and adapter combination requires just one person to load or unload tooling. The receiver is attached to the press or rail and the tooling is attached to the adapter. All the operator has to do to load is align the adapter with the safety hook on the receiver and push the tooling until it snaps into place. Unloading is equally easy: just release and unhook. The lightweight, compact receiver can be mounted on the front of a rail to save space. Heavy duty 6-point contact gold-plated pins and sockets ensure durability and reliability in harsh environments. The Easy Load can deliver up to 256 unique mechanical codes for built-in poka-yoke error-proofing.
