Madison Chemical Company, Inc. (Madison, IN) was recently upgraded and re-certified to stringent ISO 9001:2015 specifications, marking the chemical formulator’s 24th consecutive year achieving this distinction. This designation, which recognizes companies for adhering to stringent standards and processes, was first awarded to them on January 4, 1994. In addition, they have been re-certified for ISO 14001:2015 in recognition of their adherence to strict environmental standards and practices. They were originally awarded this designation on February 7, 2001, and have held it for 17 consecutive years. As a chemical formulator that provides custom tailored systems for lapping, metal pre-paint applications and more, they serve a wide range of manufacturers from their Madison headquarters and through strategically placed technical sales engineers across North America.
“We’re excited to achieve ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 1400:2015 re-certifications,” said Dick Goodman, the company president. “We’ve long held ourselves to a high standard for production, on-time deliveries and customer focus, as well as environmental impact. To be recognized by ISO for these and more is gratifying because it allows us to better serve our customers in an environmentally friendly manner.”
