The new edition of the Quick Die and Mold Change catalog from the Hilma Division of Carr Lane Roemheld (Fenton, MO) features a variety of clamps and lifters, cylinders, power units and valve packages, and showcases their line of magnetic clamping systems for plastic and rubber molding machines. The magnetic clamping system’s new long pole and square pole technology, or a combination of both, provide a consistent clamping force and safe sensor monitoring for the entire clamping cycle. The flexible systems, M-TECS 120 (maximum 266 deg F) and M-TECS 230 (maximum 450 deg F), offer quick change of different size molds in just three to five minutes. These systems are universally adaptable and permit safe, rapid change-over to new production lots. They provide a high degree of clamping force control, enabling just-in-time production. Other advantages include increased uptime, reduced labor, faster delivery, faster turnaround, and reduced inventory.
