Readers Support U.S. Tariffs on Steel and Aluminum

Readers of Fabricating & Metalworking (F&M; Birmingham, AL) support the U.S. government strategy of placing 25 percent tariffs on steel imports and 10 percent on aluminum imports. In an audience opinion survey conducted by the publication, 54 percent of those responding agree with implementing the tariffs, while 46 percent disagree.

The survey has a 95 percent confidence level with a margin of error of 3 percent. F&M serves a BPA-audited circulation of over 38,000 readers from job shops, OEMs, contract manufacturing, metal service centers and other metal fabrication operations.
