Helical Solutions LLC (Gorham, ME), a subsidiary of Harvey Performance Company, LLC (Rowley, MA) released their 2018 Product Catalog that features more than 800 new tools. This catalog was developed with the primary goal of furthering The Helical Difference: the ability to “Run Faster, Push Harder, and Machine Smarter” through tooling that delivers increased metal removal rates, better part finish, extended tool life, and an improved bottom line. With a total standard offering of over 3,400 fully stocked tools, they have continued their commitment to providing exceptional tooling at competitive prices. New to this catalog is their new line of Coolant Through – High Balance – Reduced Neck End Mills that are precision balanced for high velocity machining in aluminum (up to 33,000 rpm). This tool is available in 2-flute solid and 3-flute coolant-through options.
Metric sizes are now offered in ten high performance product tables, allowing machinists to achieve the same extraordinary results in metric applications that they’ve enjoyed from imperial sized tooling. Tplus Coating is now stocked as a standard option for users looking to increase performance and tool life where rigid machining set ups are used.
