The fully programmable C-650MNC Automatic Mitering Horizontal Pivot Band Saw from Cosen Saws (Charlotte, NC) can cut rectangles up to a 25.6 in wide at 90 deg. Its swivel saw head performs miter cuts up to 60 deg in one direction. This high production machine incorporates a massive base, a sturdy frame, and an extremely heavy duty gearbox with a 7.5 hp blade motor. The C-650MNC features an independent control panel with Smart NC-100 (SNC100) technology that provides most of the benefits of NC-controlled saws at a mere fraction of the cost. SNC100 controls are programmable up to 100 different jobs, including quantity and length of cut. The control automatically compensates for kerf loss after data input and requires no manual calculation of number of times to index. The dependable C-650MNC also features an integral coolant system, a 1-1/2 in wide blade and blade guidance for cut efficiency and maintaining blade life.
