LaserNett Expands Laser Cutting Capabilities

They add a high speed TRUMPF TL3030 fiber laser cutter to their growing list of metal fabrication processes.

Posted: April 20, 2018

With quicker running times and the ability to work with a larger variety of raw materials, this TL3030 fiber laser is flexible and can adapt to work with a large range of products. It features higher beam quality for faster cutting speeds and increased thicknesses of material to be cut. Its higher power allows a larger variety of metallic materials, ranging from mild steel, stainless steel, aluminum, copper, brass and many others. It is alble to cut a wide range of small to large diameter tubes with varying wall thicknesses and lengths with no trade-off in cut quality.

LaserNett Inc. (Mississauga, ON) has expanded their in-house capabilities with the addition of a new laser cutting system to their growing list of metal fabrication processes: a state-of-the-art, highly accurate, high speed TRUMPF TL3030 fiber laser cutter. “Our investment in this laser cutting machine represents our commitment to continually offer the best metal fabrication services. In addition to our existing TRUMPF CO2 laser cutter, this new fiber laser will continue to further solidify our market position as one of Canada’s premier metal fabrication suppliers,” says John Popik, the chief executive officer of LaserNett.

With quicker running times and the ability to work with a larger variety of raw materials, this TL3030 fiber laser is flexible and can adapt to work with a large range of products. This will allow LaserNett to participate in many new business opportunities and industrial applications. Being the newest and the most advanced type of laser cutting process, LaserNett customers can now take advantage of the following:

  • Higher beam quality: Faster cutting speeds and increased thicknesses of material to be cut.
  • Higher power: Allows a larger variety of metallic materials, ranging from mild steel, stainless steel, aluminum, copper, brass and many others.
  • Tube cutting capability: Able to cut a wide range of small to large diameter tubes with varying wall thicknesses and lengths with no trade-off in cut quality.

The TL3030 laser specs include:

• Power:: 4,000 W
• Working range: X: 120 in / Y: 60 in / Z: 4.5 in
• Maximum sheet weight: 2,000 lb
