Master Magnetics’ new facility in Castle Rock brings all of their Colorado operations under one roof with room for growth. The new headquarters, consolidates 85,000 sq ft from seven different buildings into one building of 99,000 sq ft.

Since 1976, Master Magnetics, Inc. (Castle Rock, CO) has grown into a leading single source for magnets and magnetic products throughout North America for commercial, industrial and consumer use. Starting out in a 4,000 sq ft manufacturing space with one primary product, the magnetic tool holder, they have grown to over 20 million products in stock, requiring the need to enlarge and consolidate their Colorado facilities. The move to the new headquarters consolidates 85,000 sq ft from seven different buildings into one building of 99,000 sq ft, and sets the foundation to support the anticipated growth in the near future while keeping the business in the town where it all started.

“In addition to consolidating our operations, we are able to layout our warehouse and production areas for optimal efficiency and product flow,” said Alex Onda, the supply chain manager. “With seven dock doors to simultaneously ship and receive products, we can accommodate the increased volume we expect as we execute our strategic sales growth plans,” she explained. “In addition to the usual logistical challenges inherent with a company move of this size, this one has been more like playing three-dimensional chess. We juggled a tear-down, move and set-up of racking, have been transporting our inventory from two existing warehouses and will continue to maintain our high level of customer service, all on an extremely tight timeline, It will prove to be well worth it as everyone pulls together to set up for another 40 years of growth.”

“Customer service has always been our primary concern and combining all of our production, warehousing and shipping operations in one location will allow us to maintain our high level of service as we grow,” said Jennifer Brown, the chief operating officer. Master Magnetics East in Marietta, OH, with 20,000 sq ft of production, warehousing and shipping, will continue operations to provide cost-effective and efficient shipping for the Eastern section of North America.

The spacious new headquarters include 84,000 sq ft of production and warehouse space, and 15,000 sq ft of office space. The new facility is located at 1211 Atchison Court, Castle Rock, CO, 80109.
