Prima Power Laserdyne Appoints New President
Giovanni Zunino has assumed his new role with the company.

Has assumed his new position as president for the Laserdyne product line.
Prima Power Laserdyne, LLC (Champlin, Minnesota), a world-leading manufacturer of industrial laser systems, announced the appointment of Giovanni Zunino to the position of president for the Laserdyne product line. Ezio Basso, the chief executive officer of Prima Power Division, announced his appointment succeeding Terry VanderWert, who retired from the company.
Zunino’s 25-year career includes leadership positions with Comau, a global manufacturer of industrial automation products, systems and services, and CNH Industrial, one of the world’s largest capital goods companies. Throughout his career he has held management, platform management, program sales and marketing, proposal management, purchasing and general management in the U.S., Italy, and France.
Commenting on the leadership change, Basso stated, “Giovanni will continue our company’s track record of strong global growth, bringing an extensive and successful career track record to the company that will ensure our technology position continues to grow in both domestic and international markets.”
The Prima Power sales and service network operates in over 80 countries, through direct presence and a network of specialized dealers and agents. Its products include precision 3D laser cutting, welding, and drilling systems used by leading aerospace, automotive and medical manufacturers worldwide.
