United Performance Metals (UPM; Hamilton, OH), a global leader in distribution of high temperature materials used for critical aerospace applications, has successfully achieved MCL-LCS approval from Pratt & Whitney (East Hartford, CT), a division of United Technologies Corp., and a world-class provider of dependable engines, propulsion systems, parts and services. This approval will allow the company’s Budapest, Hungary branch to begin providing LCS certified materials to their European customer base.

“Achieving MCL-LCS certification proves our commitment to servicing customers within the European region,” stated Rich Vanatsky, the director of international business. “Obtaining our certification in a relatively short amount of time demonstrates our focus on achieving the highest industry quality standards across the globe.”
