Lincoln Electric Names New Executive Vice President
David J. Nangle adds this new role to his position as president of Harris Product Group.

He has been with the company since 1979 and successfully expanded the Harris brand through product innovations and advanced operational excellence through extensive lean and environmental, health and safety initiatives that have significantly improved segment profitability and operational efficiency in the last five years.
Lincoln Electric Holdings, Inc. (Cleveland, OH) has announced the promotion of David J. Nangle as their executive vice president. This is in addition to his role as the president of The Harris Products Group (Harris; Mason, OH) segment, where he has successfully expanded that brand through product innovations and has advanced operational excellence through extensive lean and environmental, health and safety (EH&S) initiatives that have resulted in a significant improvement in segment profitability and operational efficiency in the last five years. These achievements have been recognized internally with numerous chairman awards.

Mapes, the chairman, president and chief executive officer of Lincoln Electric. “This announcement recognizes his successful track record and the value he has created for all of our stakeholders.”
Nangle joined the company in 1979 and held numerous sales management positions with increasing responsibility. In 1999, he was appointed president of the Harris Calorific subsidiary and, in 2003, was appointed president of their retail subsidiary, WCTA LLC, and elected the president of J.W. Harris Co. in 2005. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Roanoke College and an MBA from California State University, Fresno.
