In Booth N-236935, Meccanica Nova SpA (Zola Predosa, Italy) will display their high productivity Novamatic 2G M 10/80 B CNC internal grinding machine, tooled for grinding multiple bores of a special automotive engine component in a single work part clamping with load/unload by an internally-mounted FANUC robot. The Novamatic line of ID grinders are flexible, agile, high production grinding machines and are available with various workholding packages and wheel dressing options for parts ranging from 5 mm to 420 mm. These grinding machines incorporate innovative design features that provide quick setup and changeover with ease of maintenance while preserving a robust process for reduced cycle times and improved throughput.
