The ECOForm eRB80 IO+IO all-electric, digitally controlled, servo tube end forming machine from R&B Machining performs precision sizing, diameter expansions or reductions, ram forming, flaring, notching and shearing of tube diameters up to 3.1 in with standard tooling and up to 3.9 in with heavy duty tooling with maximum wall thickness of 0.079 in.

R&B Machining, Inc. (Wilmington, OH) introduces a new line of all-electric tube end forming machines: the eRB80 IO+IO is the first in their line of ECOForm™ all-electric, digitally controlled, servo tube end forming machines that eliminate the use of hydraulic oil and reduce operating costs. The eRB80 IO+IO handles tube diameters up to 80 mm (3.1 in) with standard tooling and up to 100 mm (3.9 in) with heavy duty tooling with maximum wall thickness of 2 mm (0.079 in). These machines offer velocity and force control for precision forming, while maintaining the same speed and force capabilities of traditional hydraulic machines. They are used for a variety of applications, including precision sizing, diameter expansions or reductions, ram forming, flaring, notching and shearing. Base machine models are available in 80 mm, 150 mm and 250 mm tube diameter capacities, with several options available that allow users to customize machines to meet specific requirements. The machines are available in single or multi-head configurations.
