Bystronic Acquires Majority Interest in Antil
This deal expands their field of automation for loading and unloading cutting systems, corresponding storage systems and services.

Bystronic Maschinenbau GmbH (Gotha, Germany) is acquiring 70 percent of the shares of Antil S.p.A. (Milan, Italy), an Italian specialist for automated sheet metal processing. This majority shareholding will enable them to expand their existing range of technologies and services in the field of automation and offer complementary systems for the loading and unloading of cutting systems, corresponding storage systems, and services. Antil is a highly innovative technology company that specializes in automated loading and unloading systems for laser cutting and punching machines, automated sheet metal storage systems, robot-assisted bending systems and customer services. With this majority interest, Antil is becoming an integral part of the Bystronic Group, but the successful “Antil” brand will be maintained.
