WB Industries (O’Fallon, MO), a custom metal and structural fabrication, welding, and precision machining company, has added Bill Ison as a production planner. In his new role, Ison will be responsible for planning and scheduling projects with the intent of accomplishing specific goals and optimizing plant capacity. This involves developing and evaluating production scenarios based on anticipated workload. “We are very excited to welcome Bill to our team,” said Gary Bertolucci, the president of the company. “His knowledge of the industry, along with his communication and leadership skills, make him a perfect fit for us. The production planner is one of our most essential job functions and we’re excited that he will be filling this role.”
Earning his BA in business management from Columbia College, Ison has more than six years of industry experience. In his most recent position, he served as a production control coordinator for a manufacturing company where he coordinated the production of parts based on customer demands. “We’re always looking for talented individuals to join our team,” continued Bertolucci. “Good communication is such a key element to keeping a fabrication facility like us working at optimum capacity and delivering projects on-time and under budget.”
