Booth B-8629: For all-in-one production and fabricating, the sturdy C-510MNC Miter Cutting programmable bandsaw from Cosen is equipped with an 1¼ in blade, 5 hp blade drive and automatic material feed. It cuts angles up to a 60 deg miter at a capacity of 13 in x 20 in. The user-friendly touch screen control stores up to 100 cutting jobs and utilizes a save-a-blade feature that retracts the material 2 mm from the blade at the end of each cut, thereby prolonging blade life.
Booth B-8629: For shops that build trailers, cell phone towers, oil derricks, conveyors, roller tables or makes angle cuts on structural material, the AV-2026NC bandsaw from Cosen combines a vertical tilt frame saw with an automated servo-driven feeder for a fully automatic system that allows operators to push a button and walk away until the job is completed. It can cut more complex angles on the front end, the back end or both, and is capable of making a bull nose angle cut, opposing angles, parallelograms, polygons, and straight cuts.

In Booth B-8629, Cosen Saws USA (Charlotte, NC) will showcase their C-510MNC Miter Cutting programmable bandsaw, which comes equipped with an 1¼ in blade and automatic material feed. Weighing in at a hefty 4,700 lb, this saw can cut at angles up to a 60 deg miter. It has a capacity of 13 in x 20 in with a massive base, sturdy saw frame, and a 5 hp blade drive. The user-friendly touch screen control can store up to 100 cutting jobs and utilizes a save-a-blade feature that retracts the material 2 mm from the blade at the end of each cut, thereby prolonging blade life. This versatile bandsaw is designed for all-in-one production and fabricating.

Also on display will be the AV-2026NC bandsaw, the latest answer to the call for more automation in structural steel fabrication. It combines Cosen’s vertical tilt frame saw with an automated servo-driven feeder for a fully automatic system. The end result is an advanced saw that allows operators to push a button and walk away until the job is completed. The operator can choose from a number of cut configurations on the easy-to-use touch screen and the saw takes care of the rest. Any manufacturer that is making angle cuts on structural material will benefit from incorporating the AV-2026NC in their shop. A typical user of the this bandsaw produces trailers, cell phone towers, oil derricks, conveyors or roller tables. Shops are getting a lot of capacity in a relatively small 180 in long by 135 in wide footprint. It has a max capacity of 20 in x 26 in at 90 deg.

This automatic saw is suited for manufacturers who have more complex angles to cut either on the front end, the back end or both. It is capable of making a bull nose angle cut, which shops often use to make bracing parts. The saw is also capable of making opposing angles, parallelograms, polygons, and straight cuts. It feeds up to 59 in per single shuttle that can be programmed to index up to 999 in of material. With the machine’s tight tolerance and repeatability, it will save manufacturers time and money in terms of tooling costs and additional machining time. If any of the manufacturing steps involve robotic welders, then the cut parts need to be exact. The AV-2026NC is an ideal bandsaw for any production fabricator.
