In Booth A-1119, FluidForming Americas, LLC (Hartsville TN) introduces the FormBalancer FB42, one of the largest and most capable bladderless fluid forming machines available on the market, for the first time in the U.S. The FB42 offers the ability to create larger single prototypes or oversized high run parts that require the extra-large 47 in square forming table capacity. The FormBalancer FB35 and FormBalancer FB25 are designed for smaller applications. FormBalancers apply a forming pressure of up to 60,000 psi that allows complex parts creation at lower costs in a wide variety of metals, such as titanium, aluminum, stainless steel, and copper without the use of trouble-prone bladders. During the last decade, the FormBalancer line has seen widespread utilization in the automobile, aerospace, and medical industries to minimize operating costs and maximize production versatility. This allows shops to reduce cycle times, explore previously untapped product opportunities at lower costs and increase their overall profitability.
