Bel Acquires BCMZ Precision Engineering
This deal allows Bel to vertically integrate precision machining operations for automotive, aerospace, defense, medical and other applications.

Bel Fuse Inc. (Jersey City, NJ) acquired privately-held BCMZ Precision Engineering Limited (Sudbury, UK) a manufacturer of precision machined components to the automotive, aerospace, defense, telecommunications, fiber optic and medical industries and a trusted supplier of machined components to their Cinch Connectivity Solutions UK business. BCMZ is also expected to give Cinch the capability to continue to support key defense and industrial customers across Europe with localized in-house machining ability. “They have been a strategic supplier to our Cinch Connectivity Fibreco product line since its inception and we look forward to utilizing this ability across our broader business in the future,” said Pete Bittner, the president of Bel Connectivity Solutions business. “Our acquisition of BCMZ allows the business to modernize and vertically integrate our in-house operations and further improve our supply chain management.”
Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
