Egar Tool & Die Installs New Lube Application Systems
The high-pressure Spra-Rite systems from Industrial Innovations are used in their stamping and drawing operations.

Industrial Innovations (Grandville, MI) recently provided Egar Tool & Die Ltd. (Cambridge, ON), a manufacturer of automotive stamping dies, production stampings and welded assemblies, with three Spra-Rite™ High Pressure Lubricant Spray Systems to their Cambridge facility. These spray systems are used by the plant to atomize and apply thick, emulsified lubricants of a rich dilution that are often needed to process advanced strength steels. Generating pressures up to 500 psi, the systems distribute lubricant from the reservoir tank, propelling it through a filter and then thru a patented Z-nozzle where it is atomized and applied to specific areas of the stamping or drawing tooling and/or the stock. Precise, consistent application of lubricant helps eliminate downtime, improve production rates and reduce lubricant usage.
These application systems join other Industrial Innovations equipment installed at Egar, which has employed a plant-wide lubrication strategy inclusive of a Pro-Mix V Double Lubricating System and all the piping needed to distribute a consistent lube blend to the stamping presses throughout the facility.
