KASTO Expands in North America

KASTO Inc. (Export, PA), the North American subsidiary of the German-based sawing and storage technology specialist, opened their Showroom & Technology Center in Schaumburg, IL, during an event that was attended by numerous customers, business partners and three members of the KASTO Group board. This new facility is situated in a central location for customers and business partners in the North American market and is equipped with the latest sawing, storage and digital systems that allow customers to view machinery, perform test cuts and consult with product experts.

Armin Stolzer, Ruth Stolzer and Sönke Krebber from the KASTO board of directors traveled from Achern, Germany, to attend the opening and meet with attendees. Armin, the chairman and chief executive officer of the KASTO Group, addressed participants with a warm welcome and overview of the company’s history, products and philosophy. Krebber, a member of their board of management, presented digital systems in the context of Industry 4.0 and also introduced VisualAssistance service technology that allows for the troubleshooting of KASTO systems without a service technician having to physically be at the user’s site.

After a celebratory champagne toast, attendees were able to view the systems on display, which included the KASTOecostore bar variant that was displayed for the first time in the North American market.
