Marposs Acquires Elettrosystem
This deal expands their footprint in automation, assembly and industrial testing for medical and automotive applications.

As part of their strategy to expand application offerings by integrating equipment and capabilities that complement their traditional portfolio, Marposs Corporation (Auburn Hills, MI) has acquired Elettrosystem s.r.l (Scurzolengo, Italy), which specializes in automation, assembly and industrial testing.
Founded in 1980, Elettrosystem offers custom engineered systems for a variety of needs, such as plastic vial assembly and test machines for the medical industry or cylinder head assembly lines for automotive applications. These automated systems can perform a variety of operations that include material handling, vision inspection, measurement, functional testing and assembly, etc. The company is currently composed of 60 engineers and technicians and has installations across four continents.
