Lincoln Electric Appoints New Executives
Gabe Bruno is now executive vice president of finance and Geoff Allman is senior vice president of strategy and business development.

Lincoln Electric Holdings, Inc. (Cleveland, OH) announced that Gabriel Bruno will serve as their executive vice president of finance. In this role, he will oversee global finance functions, external financial reporting and internal control infrastructure and will report to Vincent K. Petrella, their executive vice president and chief financial officer. Bruno joined the company in 1995 and has held a number of positions of increasing responsibility in finance and IT, including as the corporate controller and director of information technology from 2004-2012 before being promoted to the chief information officer in 2012. He most recently served as their executive vice president and chief human resources officer, a position he has held since 2016. Before joining their team, he was a manager in the audit practice at Price Waterhouse. He earned his accounting degree from John Carroll University.
“I am pleased to appoint Gabe as the executive vice president of finance as he brings tremendous value to the role following his successful, cross-functional leadership experience as the controller, chief information officer and chief human resources officer,” stated Christopher L. Mapes, the company chairman, president and chief executive officer. “His expertise will help support our strategic global finance initiatives.”
Also, Geoffrey P. Allman will now serve as their senior vice president of strategy and business development. In this role, he oversees global strategic planning as well as mergers and acquisitions for the company and will continue to report to Petrella. Allman began his career with the company in 1997 and has held various positions of increasing responsibility in internal audit, accounting, and finance. He most recently served as their senior vice president and corporate controller, responsible for global finance functions, external financial reporting and internal control infrastructure. Before joining the company, he was also an auditor at Price Waterhouse. He earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from St. Bonaventure University and a master’s degree in accounting from the State University of New York at Binghamton. He is a certified public accountant.
