New CEO at Ipsen
Geoffrey Somary has been appointed chief executive officer of the company.

Geoffrey Somary is now the worldwide chief executive officer of Ipsen Group (Kleve, Germany). He has held several senior positions within the company since 2005, always closely involved with customers and with team members of the company. He has demonstrated the ability to bring together employees of different cultures in a way that delivers the best possible solutions to their customers.
Handing over global operational responsibilities, former chief executive officer Thorsten Krüger has moved to the advisory board of the company. The board thanked Krüger for his contributions at Ipsen since 2013 and looks forward to his shift from operational responsibility to an advisory capacity, where he will support the further development of the business. Ipsen management will be complimented by Houman Khorram, who will continue to serve as their chief financial officer, a position he has held since 2013.
