Efficient Precision Finishing of Parts

Used in a CNC machine tool or robot cell for precise deburring, edge filleting and surface finishing of milled, flat precision parts, Garant disc brushes from Hoffmann create smooth surfaces on workpieces produced from sintering, punching, die casting or pressing.

Garant disc brushes from Hoffmann can easily finish valve plates with internal labyrinths using maximum-density yet flexible bristles that can deburr complex components without manipulating their shape. Firmly cast in place, the nylon bristles are highly impregnated with abrasive grit and won’t break off at high speeds for exceptionally long service life and controllable wear behavior in a strong, consistent brushing effect that leaves burr-free, smoothly ground surfaces. For precise deburring, edge filleting and surface finishing of milled, flat precision parts, Garant disc brushes from Hoffmann Group USA (Knoxville, TN) are suitable for direct application in a CNC machine or a robot cell and applied immediately after the machining process to reliably remove unwanted burrs and fine milling marks. These tools are also suitable for precisely brushing down workpieces that have been produced using a sintering, punching, die casting or pressing process, and for creating smooth surfaces. These disc brushes even make finishing of valve plates with internal labyrinths easy, and thanks to their maximum-density yet flexible bristles, they can deburr complex components without manipulating their shape. The nylon bristles are firmly cast in place, impregnated with abrasive grit and won’t break off at high speeds, producing a strong, consistent brushing effect due to the high proportion of abrasive grit they contain. This means burr-free, smoothly ground surfaces plus an exceptionally long service life and controllable wear behavior.

These disc brushes are particularly well suited to wet machining and are compatible with all measuring head and combination face mill adapters. Garant disc brushes can also be adapted specifically to suit specific application needs, and the existing range of disc brushes will soon expand to include circular brushes for deburring work on outer surfaces.
