Messer Acquires Linde Gas Businesses
They acquire most of the North American gas businesses of Linde, along with certain other Linde operations in South America.

Messer Group GmbH (Bad Soden, Germany) and CVC Capital Partners Fund VII (London, UK) completed the acquisition of certain businesses in North and South America from Linde plc (Guildford, UK), launching a new name in the Americas market: Messer Americas offers largely the same products, services and people that customers have come to know and trust. Together with Messer Group, the company represents a $3 billion global enterprise that includes a presence in the Americas, Europe and Asia.
