For shops that call for using shrink fit holders, duplicate assemblies or multi-spindle machines, the VIO Linear Toolshrink from Haimer provides fully automated presetting with incorporated shrink fit technology for precise length adjustment on the μm scale that can reduce setup times by as much as 70 percent, increase machine utilization and streamline tool setting processes.
Network-compatible and i4.0-ready with post-processing and RFID integrated technology capabilities, the Tool Dynamic Preset machine from Haimer combines two production stages into one seamless operation that integrates balancing and presetting technologies for the highest efficiency and time savings. It utilizes a high precision balancing spindle with a proven adapter system and boasts a small footprint that maximizes productivity in small and large workspaces alike.

Designed for absolute ease of use with uncomplicated software and a thermally-stable cast iron base, Microset tool presetting machines from Haimer USA (Villa Park, IL) provide the highest degree of accuracy and process reliability from one operator to the next. Ranging from entry-level machines that are very cost-effective for low-volume users up to fully automated presetting with incorporated shrink fit technology, these tool presetters are industry 4.0-ready with post-processing capabilities, ±2 μm repeatability and features such as ‘Release-By-Touch’ with laser edgefinder, vacuum clamping, 1,000 tool data storage and an incident light. For shops that call for using shrink fit holders, duplicate assemblies or multi-spindle machines, the VIO Linear Toolshrink provides fully automated presetting with incorporated shrink fit technology for precise length adjustment on the μm scale that can reduce setup times by as much as 70 percent, increase machine utilization and streamline tool setting processes.

The VIO Linear Toolshrink comes standard with a fully automatic induction unit, automatic detection of shrinking parameters, automatic length adjustment within ±10 μm, an extractor and contact cooling. The shrink technology permits tool changes of any shrink chuck, regardless of the holder brand, though best results come when used with Haimer shrink fit holders. Haimer also offers the Tool Dynamic Preset machine that creates a perfect combination of the Tool Dynamic balancing and Microset UNO Premium presetting machines. Integrating these balancing and presetting technologies allows for the highest efficiency and time savings by combining two production stages into one seamless operation. The TD Preset Microset utilizes a high precision balancing spindle with a proven adapter system and boasts a small footprint that maximizes productivity in small and large workspaces alike.
