G.H. Tool & Mold Upgrades Machining Capabilities
They install service packs to improve the overall performance of their Fidia K211 and K199 5-axis machining centers.

G.H. Tool & Mold, LLC (Washington, MO), a Tooling Tech Group (Macomb, MI) company and a supplier of die cast dies and aerospace tooling, announced that they have upgraded their Fidia K211 and K199 5-axis machining centers with a Fidia service pack that includes advanced controls, drives, spindles, and other internal mechanisms that improve overall equipment performance. These machines now have faster feed rates, acceleration and deceleration rates, improved positioning precision, and better reliability that results in a superior surface finish, helping them to produce higher quality products.
The Fidia K series high speed milling machines are designed specifically for aeronautical components, with the K211 being especially well-suited for machining large dies and extra-dimensioned components. The shop also has over 40 other precision CNC machine tools on their floor and can handle cavity components up to 45 in x 45 in x 36 in deep, and retainer sets up to 100,000-lb. G.H. Tool is ISO9001:2015, AS9100 and DD23454 Certified, as well as being a recipient of a Boeing gold Performance Excellence Award for the last five years.
