The fully electric CNC 220 E TB MR multiple-radius tube bending machine from Schwarze-Robitec America Inc. (Grand Rapids, MI) features transport boost technology to swiftly, flexibly, precisely and efficiently produce even complex tube geometries with diameters up to 8 in and tube lengths up to 13 ft. A vertical height-adjustable pressure die moves to the required bending level in each individual case to allow the requisite bending forces to be optimally gauged in order to consistently apply the optimal contact pressure to the tubes and pipes to be bent. Used in combination with individually adjustable tools, the multi-level technology integrated into the CNC 220 E TB MR allows tubes to be bent simply and precisely with very short lengths between bends. The NxG control system also contributes to the fast cycle times by optimizing time, travel stroke and speed on all CNC axes to reduce production times up to 35 percent.
The energy-efficient CNC 220 E TB MR is equipped with bend former retraction as a standard so that the bend former and swing arm can be operated separately to produce a highly diverse range of tube geometries while users easily adjust and position them during the bending process. A smart remote maintenance system with numerous diagnosis functions is integrated into this gigantic machine.
Schwarze-Robitec GmbH (Cologne, Germany) also recently delivered a powerful FL 2000 membrane wall bending machine to Martin Caldeiras, Lda (Caldas da Rainha, Portugal), which specializes in manufacturing boiler spare parts, robot cladding, and membrane tube walls used in the complex process of thermal waste treatment is a complex process. At the center of this process is the boiler, which consists of several tubes welded together into a membrane tube wall. Before a membrane tube wall can be used in boiler construction, it must first be bent with maximum precision by the FL 2000 to ensure a perfect fit with the boiler design and adjacent supply line segments in modern power plant construction. The 27 ton FL 2000 can bend entire membrane tube walls up to 2,000 mm wide and can process walls consisting of tubes with a diameter of up to 70 mm and a wall thickness of up to 5 mm in a single step. The machine also has an integrated remote maintenance service.
