Starrett Appoints New Director of Sales
Jon-Michael Raymond leads sales of precision measuring tools and gages, hand tools and saw blades in North America.

Having worked in the industrial market space for over 12 years, he brings a strong sales and marketing background as well as experience with distribution and end users.
The L.S. Starrett Company (Athol, MA) appointed Jon-Michael Raymond as their director of sales for North America, Industrial Products. He is responsible for sales of their core products, including precision measuring tools and gages, hand tools and saw blades in North America. He succeeds Tony Aspin, their vice president of sales who will be retiring on June 30 after having served the company for 28 years. Aspin and Raymond will be working together on a transition plan until the end of June.

Starrett, the president and chief executive officer of the company. “He brings a strong sales and marketing background as well as experience with distribution and end users, and will be instrumental in growing the sales of our broad range of products in North America. We welcome him to our team and wish Tony the best in his retirement.”
Raymond has worked in the industrial market space for over 12 years, with the past three years serving as the vice president of sales for PFERD Inc. He also held various sales and finance positions for Osborn and Norton | Saint-Gobain Abrasives. He is a graduate of Worcester State University and Assumption College, where he received a Masters of Business Administration. He is now based out of the corporate headquarters in Athol and resides with his family in central Massachusetts.
