TTG Acquires Alpha Integration
This deal will help TTG expand into new markets, including the medical and cosmetics sectors.

Tooling Tech Group (TTG; Macomb, MI) acquired Alpha Integration (Murfreesboro, TN), a provider of custom automated assembly and inspection equipment with experience in the development and manufacture of assembly, material handling, dispensing, sorting, testing, welding, and fastening solutions for the automotive, cosmetic, electrical, construction and life sciences industries. “Alpha’s expertise in integrating a variety of processes into automated assembly and test solutions complements our existing capabilities, enhancing our ability to serve our existing customers while enabling us to reach new markets, such as the medical and cosmetics sectors,” said Lee Childers, the chief executive officer of Tooling Tech Group. “This is a very exciting time of growth for our company.”
“I am very impressed with TTG and I look forward to working with their leadership team to further support our current and potential new customers,” said Matthew Phillips, the president of Alpha Integration. “Partnering with them provides us more flexibility with increased resources and capacity, as well as a wealth of industry knowledge.” Alpha Integration was founded in 2002 and is comprised of about 45 employees. They will continue to operate out of the Murfreesboro location while their business practices will be integrated into overall TTG operations.
