Boostweld Wins Trademark for Technology

It covers their patented GMAW gas flow technology.

Posted: July 19, 2019

Boostweld® (Taichung, Taiwan) has been granted the trademark for their patented GMAW gas flow technology that delivers an increase in efficiency and reduces shielding gas consumption by 70 percent at optimum velocity. First filed in March 2016 and awarded in April 2017 by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), this patent outlines an insulator with an interior air chamber and guiding wall that evenly stabilizes the shielding gas pressure. Welding and fabrication industry professionals based in the U.S. can explore the newly patented and trademarked Boostweld GMAW gas flow technology at FABTECH 2019 in Chicago this November.
