In Booth A-3303, Hougen Manufacturing, Inc. (Swartz Creek, MI) introduces a new annular cutter kit, the RotaLoc Plus™ Master Kit, which contains 14 different sizes of RotaLoc Plus cutters in the most popular sizes. Diameters included in the kit are 7/16 in, 1/2 in, 9/16 in, 5/8 in, 11/16 in, 3/4 in, 13/16 in, 7/8 in, 15/16 in, 1 in, 1-1/16 in, 1-1/8 in, 1-1/4 in and 1-3/8 in. Two pilots are also included in the kit and all the tools are individually protected in a high quality plastic case to safeguard cutting edges from collisions and damage. RotaLoc Plus annular cutters are made from M42 HSS and are precision ground for hole making in materials up to 1 in thick. They feature a bayonet-style shank so that cutter sizes can quickly be changed in seconds without the use of tools. Stack cut geometry used on the cutting teeth not only allows them to drill through single plate, but also two or more pieces of steel at one time. RotaLoc Plus cutters can be resharpened multiple times, with each time reducing the cost per hole.
The RotaLoc Plus Master kit is the perfect complement to the ultra-low profile HMD130 magnetic drill, but these cutters can also be used on standard magnetic drills with an optional adapter. The cutters are made in the U.S.
