In Booth B-17059, American Weldquip LLC (Sharon Center, OH) introduces their new ROBO-QUIP Robotic Nozzle Cleaning Station that is designed for easy installation, setup, serviceability and low operating and maintenance cost. It features:
- A self-aligning nozzle clamp system that automatically adjusts to any nozzle outside diameter.
- No V-blocks or adjustments to make when changing nozzles.
- Simplified and easy initial setup procedures.
- Advanced connectivity: Ethernet/IP, DeviceNet, ProfiNet options are available.
- An enclosed anti-spatter chamber with excess capture battle and debris tray for cleaner work environment.
- A larger anti-spatter reservoir (1.5 quart).
- No exposed exterior pneumatic lines.
- All internal electrical and pneumatic lines are color-coded to their functions for easy identification.
- Optional wire cutter.
Also on display will be their new water-cooled semi-automatic torch with an integrated flow switch, a new enhancement to their “Cool Grip” water-cooled semi-automatic lineup. In welding operations, 80 percent of water-cooled torch repairs are due to compromised water-cooled power cables because of the lack of water flow. Most of the time this is ends up being an expensive repair. All Cool-Grip semi-automatic torches are now manufactured and shipped standard with an integrated water flow switch that protects the torch and components against low or no water flow conditions. If low flow is detected, the trigger circuit is deactivated. This new standard feature, along with an anti-stretch cord to prevent pulling apart of cable assemblies, helps end-users avoid costly repairs and downtime.
