In Booth A-3162, ARKU, Inc. (Cincinnati, OH) will display their EdgeBreaker® 3000 deburring machine that features two sequential processing units for deburring and edge-round laser-cut parts up to 80 mm (3.15 in) thick from both sides in a single pass. Its patented brush-change click system enables quick and easy replacement of the abrasives for rapid and flexible adaptation based on specific deburring tasks. In addition, its automatic calibration system measures the abrasive consumption and compensates for such automatically. The operator does not need to intervene. Also during the show, ARKU will demonstrate live leveling tests with their FlatMaster® 55 precision leveler that delivers flat metal sheets and parts with reduced internal stresses. This leveler is capable of flattening materials as thin as 0.1 mm (0.005 in) and up to a max thickness of 60 mm (2.40 in). Leveling with this machine is a quick and simple process, especially compared to other flattening methods. The results allow for increased speed and reliability during downstream processes, such as welding, bending and forming. Additionally, the integrated leveling gap control and quick-change system for the leveling rollers allow the FlatMaster to be extremely precise and maintenance friendly.
