Scotchman Industries®, Inc.’s (Philip, SD) CPO 350 AutoLoader is a fully automatic sawing system that is made in the U.S. and guaranteed to save time, reduce scrap and eliminate costly mistakes. Scotchman has taken their semi-automatic CPO 350 PKPD saw and added an auto-loading system to create a fully automatic sawing system that can cut multiple lengths of tube (max 3 in diameter). This saw comes standard with a Windows®-based touch screen control, 5 hp variable rpm speed motor, 315 mm diameter blade and the ability to run unlimited cut lists from 1/2 in to 23 ft lengths. Run a complete cut list, or a run of cut lists at 90 deg on an automatic cycle, or switch to operate the saw in a semi-automatic cycle to miter cut. Quick set-up, automatic part length changes and fast reloading of material adds efficiency, along with accurate cut lengths and precision always within ± 0.002 per diameter inch in squareness.
The AL150 HS high-speed Abrasive Grinder/Notcher is a two-in-one machine that includes a grinding belt and pipe grinder to create perfect notches in seconds and is 40 faster than the original AL150. It is ideal for use on stainless, aluminum, and plastic. With a belt speed of 150 ft/sec, its benefits include faster grinding with less dust/particles, less color distortion due to heat and a 2X to 3X longer belt life. This machine can grind any angle from 20 deg to 90 deg on square, rectangular, and round pipes of varying wall thicknesses. The AL150 HS machine is perfect for double corner joints, great for high production, and is backed by a three-year warranty.
The versatile and well-known model 50514-EC and 5014ET 50-ton ironworkers, now coupled with an automated measuring system: the RazorGage digital length positioning system. With the RG Digital Quick-Stop, material is accurately positioned in the ironworker to the exact length every time to eliminate waste, reduce set-up time and scrap, and increase production efficiency. These ironworkers are American-made with five separate work-stations. Using 50 tons of hydraulic pressure, they can punch a 1-1/4 in hole through ½ in plate and a 13/16 in hole through ¾ in plate. The 50514-EC has a single punch station and the 5014-ET offers a three-station revolving turret punch station, with many standard features and equipment that include an angle shear that will shear up to 4 in x 4 in x 3/8 in angle iron and a flat bar shear that can shear ¾ in x 4 in to ¼ in x 14 in plate.
These 50-ton ironworkers also feature a rectangle notcher capable of up to 2-1/2 in x 3 in notches in 5/16 in thick material. With its unique component tool table design, it has the ability to accept numerous optional tooling and equipment, such as a 12 in press brake, rod shear, square tube shear, picket tool, pipe notcher and special custom-made tooling.
