In Booth D-46053, Hammer Presses by EDPS (El Segundo, CA) will display their 160 ton and 110 ton Power Presses that use the latest technology and highest quality components in the industry. Hammer is a manufacturer of precision mechanical and hydraulic presses ranging from 10 ton to 10,000 ton capacities in all press configurations – C-frame, Straight Side, 4-post, Plunger Guided, Eccentric Geared, Link Motion, High Speed, Servo and Forging – that meet JIS First Class industrial standards, ISO and CE-certified. They supply a full line of press room accessories for all types of metal forming applications: stamping, blanking, bending/piercing, deep draw, extrusion, progressive dies, transfer dies, cold/warm/hot forging, hydroforming, thermal forming, high speed stamping and motor lamination stamping. They also provide preventative maintenance programs, 24/7 service and support through their Press Doctors service organization.

Hammer has installed presses in Russia, India, Malaysia, Vietnam, Turkey, Thailand, Egypt, Spain, Singapore, Mexico, the U.S. and other countries. Since 2018 they have increased their investment in North America by moving from a distributor base to a direct factory supplier, opening direct sales and service outfits throughout North America that utilize a “Service is Sales” philosophy where customer service requirements are top priority. They respond quickly and efficiently to clients’ requirements to minimize any possible downtime and ensure maximum efficiency for the lifetime of the equipment (also resulting in repeat orders for additional presses). Press Doctors employs skilled, time-sensitive professionals for immediate dispatch throughout North America. Their Doctor Type Diagnostic Approach identifies “root cause equipment illnesses” by asking proper technical questions and obtaining all required details prior to dispatching field service engineers. An accurate diagnosis assures the proper solution is delivered by a specific trade-qualified technician to solve any problem promptly.

Visitors should inquire about how these preventive maintenance programs track equipment life and translate into the lowest-cost insurance available for monitored wellness of press equipment. Hammer’s “Press Quality First” mentality concentrates on world-class press component suppliers to do what they do best. Hammer utilizes well-known component brands, including ROSS, Teco Westinghouse, Siemens, SMC, Parker, OMPI, Rexroth, SKF, Wintriss Controls, Helm, Toledo, Mitsubishi, Omron, Allen Bradley, Pilz, Keyence, MTS, Schneider Electric and more.
