Metal Exchange Names New CEO
Rick Merluzzi is their new chief executive officer.

Metal Exchange Corporation (MEC; St. Louis, MO) has promoted Rick Merluzzi to the position of chief executive officer. Mike Lefton, current chairman and chief executive officer, will assume the title of executive chairman. Merluzzi oversees all their businesses, including Metal Exchange Trading, Pennex Aluminum Company, Continental Aluminum and Electro Cycle, Inc. He joined the company15 years ago as the president of MEC subsidiary, Pennex Aluminum Company, and for the past five years has served as the president and chief operating officer of MEC.
