Workstation Tools That Improve Weld Accuracy and Productivity

The two-section ReadyRest Arm Rest, multi-function Deluxe MIG Pliers and a Plasma Cutting Tray attachment from Strong Hand Tools enable greater weld control, reduced fatigue and higher productivity in cutting, clamping, fixturing and welding on a single workstation.

The articulated, fully adjustable ReadyRest two-section Arm Rest from Strong Hand Tools supports the extended arm while welding for greater weld control and reduced fatigue. It is height adjustable, easily swivels for work in precise locations, and has a comfortable, generously-sized arm cup that rotates 360 deg for complete freedom in positioning and instant re-positioning. Its sturdy, magnetic, anti-tipping base plate can be placed on any steel surface and easily leveled.
Multi-function Deluxe MIG Pliers from Strong Hand Tools are equipped with a handy 90 deg side pull V-notch in the jaws to pull wire or grasp small items, such as nuts. The jaws also have both fine and course files for nozzle cleaning and spatter removal. In addition to the traditional round face hammer, these pliers also feature a flat face hammer for better contact in light hammering. An easy-to-spot bright yellow comfort grip handles fit well in the hand, making them easy to hold and use.
Using the Plasma Cutting Tray attachment for the Rhino Cart Mobile Fixturing Station from Strong Hand Tools, operators can cut, clamp, fixture and weld on one convenient workstation at the ideal working height. It supports 100 lb on a 18 in x 28 in cutting surface with 14 reversible / replaceable steel slats. Generous 1.8 in width between cutting slats provides ample space for hold-down clamping. Slats are secured in place to maintain rigidity while working.

This Arm Rest is height adjustable (the support arm slides up or down the mounting column) and swivels smoothly and easily for work in precise locations. Its comfortable, generously-sized arm cup rotates in a 360 deg arc for complete freedom in positioning and instant re-positioning. Its sturdy, magnetic, anti-tipping base plate can be placed on any steel surface and leveled by adjusting the two leveling bolts. The full ReadyRest line includes MIG, TIG Torch, Electrode Holder (Universal), Grinder, Arm and Wrist Rests.
