SigmaTEK Names New VP
Kevin Ramirez is promoted to vice president of sales for North America.

SigmaTEK Systems, LLC (Cincinnati, OH), a leader in developing CAD/CAM software solutions for the fabrication industry is pleased to announce that Kevin Ramirez will join the leadership team as the vice president of sales for North America. With an extensive manufacturing background, he brings a strong work ethic of more than 20 years of production, cutting machinery and software experience to this new role. During that time, he has served in many capacities including CNC operator, support and service engineer, technical sales management, and global OEM management.
Having operated, supported, and sold fabrication software and machines, Ramirez brings a strong understanding of the technical needs of fabricators. Commenting on his new position, he said, “I know the team very well and feel honored to lead such an experienced group of professionals with so much fabrication and shop floor knowledge. Our focus has always been the success of our customers, and that doesn’t change. He will report directly to the chief executive officer Robbie Payne, and will help the senior leadership team identify opportunities to drive automation and connectivity within manufacturing technologies. Announcing the promotion, Payne said, “Among the many things that I appreciate about Kevin is his passion for the value and impact software has on our industry, which is what brought him back to SigmaTEK after time on the machine side. His data-driven approach, along with the intimate knowledge of machines and his ongoing relationships with our industrial partners make him a great asset. I am delighted to welcome him to the executive team.”
