Global Shop Solutions Celebrates 20-Year Anniversary of Chief Financial Officer Barry Klein
Barry Klein has far outperformed the boundaries of his job description, says the company’s president. Among Klein’s many achievements, Global Shop Solutions attributes its 100% debt-free status to their valuable CFO.

Working 20 years for the same company is uncommon in today’s employment landscape – which is why Global Shop Solutions (The Woodlands, TX) is proud to announce their chief financial officer, Barry Klein, recently achieved this milestone.
Klein joined Global Shop Solutions in 2000 after serving as corporate counsel for Perry Homes, a renowned home builder in the state of Texas. In addition to overseeing the financial side of Global Shop Solutions, Klein also manages the accounting team, including tax and regulatory compliance. According to company CEO & President Dusty Alexander, Klein’s contributions far exceed expectations.
“We hired Barry because he had everything we were looking for in a CFO – a business degree, a law degree, a customer-first attitude and previous manufacturing ownership experience,” says Alexander. “However, we had no idea at the time he would play such a key role in our global growth over the past 20 years.
“Barry led the way in helping Global Shop Solutions become a truly global organization by setting up our international corporations in the U.K., Mexico, Singapore and New Zealand,” Alexander continues. “He also oversees the purchasing and management of the technologies we need to keep our business and our customers at the forefront of the ERP industry.”
Klein’s other major contributions include:
- Putting Global Shop Solutions on the path to being 100% debt free (since 2012)
- Contributing to the company’s double-digit average annual growth rate over the last 20 years
- Regularly participating in community service, including working with Family Legacy to sponsor children living in Zambia
- Modeling Global Shop Solutions’ love, serve and care values to employees and customers
