Ease and Adjustability for Punching Applications

Multicyl’s Press in a Box and MultiPunch Linear Rail work together to add versatility to tooling applications and press solutions.

Multicyl's MLRs offer hole position versatility for variable punching applications in sheet metal, angle iron, extrusion, or tubing.
The Multicyl Press-In-A-Box is a turnkey system ready for production shortly after delivery.

Multicyl’s Press in a Box and MultiPunch Linear Rail work together to add versatility to tooling applications and press solutions.

The Press-In-A-Box system consists of four components: the Multicyl, the cage, the air controls, and the tooling. Once the components are selected and the order is placed, Multicyl performs the assembly and testing of the components in-house and ships the product, which sets up quickly for production. Turn-key systems and standard components mean users can remove the press components from the box, thread them together, and add air.

MLRs offer hole position versatility for variable punching applications in sheet metal, angle iron, extrusion, or tubing. Multicyl stations and backstops relocate in seconds.

Other MLR features include:

  • Standard rail sizes from 2′ to 10′
  • Accepts all standard unitized tools
  • Fast cycle times
  • Quick tool changeover
  • Often meets OSHA standards without additional guarding
  • Uses the Multicyl Press-In-A-Box technology for easy, simple, and user friendly initial set-up.
