The modular Unilock Stabilizer 50 for the Uniflex ball system from Big Kaiser Precision Tooling (Hoffman Estates, IL) provides lateral support for tall parts during machining, welding, or assembly and allows for transfer of loads to the table or base.
The system attaches to the worktable and side of the workpiece. As the workpiece gets taller and further from the table, the zero-point stabilizer offsets the forces pushing against the workpiece.
By easily adjusting to any new part, the tool eliminates the potential for error inherent in modifying parts by moving them from machine to machine. It also can be used for mobile parts that are odd shapes and sizes.
The tool’s easy to adjust within one job or with multiple jobs and is easy to integrating into existing setups. It stacks easily and uses a wide variety of gripping forms.
